Fill an existing PDF form
Enter values into supported fields already present in an AcroForm PDF, with the option to flatten the filled copy. The form stays in your browser during processing. This tool does not detect blank spaces automatically, create new form fields or support XFA, calculations and signature-field workflows.
Fill supported existing text, checkbox, choice and radio fields. Field creation and automatic detection are not implemented.
When this tool helps
- Complete a straightforward existing PDF questionnaire for your own records.
- Prepare a fixed reading copy of a supported fillable form.
Questions and practical limits
Can it turn a scanned paper form into fillable fields?
No. Automatic field detection and field creation are not implemented. For a simple visual addition to a scanned form, the separate PDF editor can add text overlays.
What does flattening do to the filled form?
Optional flattening makes the filled appearance part of the page rather than leaving editable form widgets. Keep the original form if you will need to change entries later.
