Add a watermark to PDF pages
Label a PDF with a text watermark or an image overlay such as a logo. Processing happens in your browser, with basic size and position controls. A visible watermark communicates a label or source; it does not encrypt the file or prevent copying.

When this tool helps
- Mark a working document as a draft before circulating it internally.
- Place a visible source logo on a handout you are authorized to label.
Questions and practical limits
Can a watermark stop someone copying the PDF?
No. It is a visible overlay, not an access-control mechanism. Use appropriate sharing controls and consider password protection when the document needs restricted opening.
Does the tool support repeated tiled watermarks?
The current workflow provides basic text or image placement. Full tiling, layering and advanced typography options are not implemented, so review the available controls before proceeding.
