Extract ruled PDF tables to Excel

Move tables with visible grid lines from a text-based PDF into an XLSX workbook. Detected cells contain literal text, not recovered formulas or workbook structure. This limited table extractor requires a configured native processing service; its current availability is shown above.

Questions and practical limits

Does this recover formulas from a PDF?

No. A PDF table is not the original workbook. Extracted cells hold literal text; formulas, number types and calculations must be checked or rebuilt in Excel.

Will scanned or borderless tables work?

Scanned-table recognition is not included, and general borderless-table fidelity is not supported. This adapter specifically targets detectable ruled tables in text-based PDFs.
